As Rock Daily previously reported, U2’s 360° Tour will be the band’s most ambitious ever, featuring a massive set piece dubbed “the Claw,” which stands at a towering 164 feet. The Claw is the largest stadium stage set, clocking in twice as high as the piece from the Rolling Stones’ A Bigger Bang tour. For more on how the Claw was designed and how it will operate, check out Brian Hiatt’s story from the current issue:

In addition, U2 were recently back in Morocco — where much of No Line on the Horizon was recorded — to film the video for the album’s second single, “Magnificent.” Using the city of Fez as a backdrop, Bono and the gang have taken to the streets and “a local riad” for the new video, according to the band’s official Website. U2.com also has a pair of exclusive on-set videos, one featuring the band performing the song in a room with pillows on the floor and the other a short interview with Bono talking about the early call time. Like its predecessor “Get On Your Boots,” the video will be directed by Alex Courtes.
