It’s seems that this couple has had unhealthy arguments that has led to verbal & physical abuse. Rihanna was upset to discover that her man was cheating but instead of just leaving an already bad relationship, she slaps him. Rihanna slapping him resulted in Chris brutally abusing her. Chris was blinded in anger & his strength grew tremendously that he send Rihanna to the hospital. Both are very talented & it saddens me that with this incident their careers may be at risk. Although initial reports suggested that a female made the call to police, according to the report, it was a Rabbi who lives in the area.

Domestic violence is an ever-growing issue in America. Some men feel like they have to possess power and dominance over their wives and girlfriends. Chris Brown’s actions were by no means acceptable whether or not Rihanna hit him first. He should have been a real man and sucked it up and walked away. No amount of anger should result in any one person hitting another, whether it is male versus male, male versus female, or female versus female. Some people feel that it was their two-year age difference that could have been the cause of the incident. I do not think that is the reason because in most instances age is nothing but a number.
I think that it is good that Rihanna gets to make the decision as to whether or not she testifies in court. Although her attorney says she will testify in court and that she is willing to do whatever the law asks of her I do not think she will because of the fact that she and Chris are back together. I also think that if she did testify, it would make the situation more awkward than it probably already is, considering that her words could be what put him in prison. I think that Chris Brown should suffer the consequences of his actions even if it does mean that he has to spend a couple of years behind bars. That way there is chance that he would learn his lesson and never do anything like this again. I don’t think that he’ll get any time though, because for some reason famous people seem to get off easier than average people. However, I do not think that this incident should be the end of his career like many others do. He does make good music and he should be able to continue his career with no problems.
