In honor of that big Def Leppard and Poison tour that’s coming to your town this summer, this weekend’s Rock List was dedicated to 1980s Hard Rock Songs. We counted the votes, and the song that most made our readers want to apply copious amount of hairspray was Ozzy Osbourne’s tribute to deranged transportation, “Crazy Train” from his 1980 LP Blizzard of Ozz. Where did songs by Metallica, Ratt and the Dead Kennedys land? Check out the readers’ list below:

1. Ozzy Osbourne – “Crazy Train”
2. Guns n’ Roses – “Paradise City”
3. Metallica – “One”
4. The Replacements – “Bastards of Young”
5. Cinderella – “Shake Me”
6. Van Halen – “Hot For Teacher”
7. Living Colour – “Cult of Personality”
8. Motley Crue – “Too Young to Fall in Love”
9. AC/DC – “Back In Black”
10. Skid Row – “Youth Gone Wild”
11. Ratt – “Round & Round”
12. Dead Kennedys – “Holiday in Cambodia”
13. Judas Priest – “Breaking the Law”
14. Faith No More – “We Care A Lot”
15. Joan Jett – “I Love Rock N’ Roll”

With the exception of Bon Jovi, Rush and Def Leppard, the above list from Steel Dragon could be a list of the Shi**iest songs of the 80’s

the replacements(or at least the surviving members) have got to be so embarrassed being on this list…the majority of this list is a perfect example of just how bad popular music was in the 80’s

Let’s not forget Cheap trick who is on this weird tour too, who should by all accounts (musically) really should be the the headliner….
