Yes, it is NEVER ok to lay your hands on someone else in a violent way. I don’t feel the need to go over this. There are no terms that justify it, and to suggest that contracting an STD from your long term gf makes it okay, is absurd.

While we don’t know the validity of that story, and therefore truly can’t comment….given the prevalence of herpes, it is of course, possible that she had it. But who is anyone here to comment on that. It may have been something she told him in the beginning of their relationship…something he was aware of, and accepting off. While Herpes carries a high social stigma, physically its reprocussions are slight, particularly if someone infected is able to afford to cheap daily meds. Many people with Herpes have very happy sex lives, characterized by honesty and openness with their partner.
