Not only is the U2 machine obviously gearing up for the ride of our lives with No Line On The Horizon.

And not only did Bruce Springsteen release an unexpected album….

But now Blink 182 , the band of my teenage years announced at the Grammy’s they are coming back!!!!!!

2009 is already a year to remember!

Tom quit and left their manager to tell mark and travis and then attempted to sell out as much as possible with his ‘world-changing’ AVA. Fall Out Boy do more to save the world than AVA, and all Tom does is get around thinking he’s Jesus claiming (and this is a direct quote) ‘I would have to say that God wrote 90% of this album’. Satan, how can you say Radiohead is boring? Because they use more then 3 chords in there songs and have probably the most talented musicians ever to be in the same band? they’ve been making incredibly different sounding and amazing albums since the bends, blink on the other hand with the exception of there last album which broke some ground have made the same sounding album since they started, they really have no growth and thats the definition of boring, as far as singing goes have you heard tom delounge sing live, its shit, dont get me wrong i would see blink in concert to just drink and listen to the music i grew up with in elementary and middle school, but a Radiohead concert is an experience you will never forget

Coldplay may be boring but they have as many or more memerable songs then blink

I have everyradiohead album, I tried to give them a chance, but I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s not music. It’s boring sounds and barely any rythm. From appreciating all the small things in life to that first nerve wracking date. They touched on it all.

I loved Blink back in the day. Hands down one of my fav band of all times! But after the break up it put think in prospective for me. The reason I loved blink so much was that they were three best friends working together and having fun. Mark and Tom seemed to have a bond that could not be broking. Travis seemed to be too cool for the glamour life and just loved music. But after the break up in all fell into place: Tom and Mark did not talk and Travis was on a TV all the time flashing his money. There human I know, but the lesson I will take from blink 182 is: Things are not what they seem, that bad things do happen to everyone, best friends do fall apart, in life we change and there is nothing we can do about it. We are all human! The life that i wish i had by saying, when i was younger, “man I wish I had a best friend like that” or “i wish i could be that non-materialists” seem to make more since, It was not real! I have been listening to Blink182 since Dude Ranch and all their other bands like BoxCarRacer(my fav), Aquabats (Travis was their old drummer), +44, and Angels and Airwaves and I’m very excited about the new reunion. I hate how pple are saying “You are a tool if you listen to blink182 or go find real music.” I mean really pple what happened to listening to music bc you like it. The generation today is more like lets go find bands no one has ever heard of before and listen to them so I can be different than everyone else. Its cool to an extent but what happened to making yourself happy with what you listen to and whocares what others think. Also, Blink182 doesnt suck Travis Barker is an amazing drummer! Yeah he pretty much carries that band on his back and is their glory in the band where as the others are okay, but everyone has to agree that Blink has some catchy lyrics everyone enjoys and likes to listen to for fun. Plus they are pretty much the heart of pop punk and what the bands you guys listen to today use to listen to when they were kids.
Also, whoever said RadioHead sucks is a moron and knows nothing about music and whoever said they have no rhythm is an even bigger idiot. Its not just a bunch or sounds. Its beautiful and has way more than just the 3 same chords over and over again. The counts they use are amazing and are orgasmic to any real musicians ears. Travis Barker has been in the band since 1992(17 years thats a long time give the man some credit) and it doesnt matter if he wasnt the original drummer (I mean most pple didnt even know of them until after Enema of the State anyway..) What does that have to do with him carrying the band? Tom and Mark arent the best of musicians but are good enough at what they do unlike Travis who blows them away at his amazing skills. Kinda like what Underoath does with Aaron Gillespie, for example.

i’ve been dreaming about a blink-182 reunion since they broke up. oh my god, i was literally jumping up and down and freaking out like a little fan girl when i found out they were back together. embarassing i know, but come on! one of your fav bands breaks up (which totally breaks your heart) and then gets back together? i think its a justified reaction. anyway, my world is whole again:) so excited for July 31. 19 days til blink-182!!!!

I AM 16 my uncle showed me blink when i was like 12 and i loved every single song they ever made they are just perfect to hear that they are going to be making more songs is like a dream i could seriously just listen to their music and nothing else blink ur awesome
