  • U2 are warning fans about a fake tour scam that is selling tickets for dates that don’t exist. “Just a note to correct some online information suggesting that tickets are available for U2 shows this summer. No tickets are available and no shows have been announced,” the band said on their Website.

  • Merle Haggard has filed a lawsuit against environmental group the World Freedom Train (or the Green Train) and its founder. According to the lawsuit, the group “have used misleading and illegal tactics to raise contributions in Mr. Haggard’s name.” The suit also alleges the the World Freedom Train forged Haggard’s signature in letters to music colleagues in seeking for more funds.
  • R. Kelly finally finalized his divorce from his wife of 11 years, lawyers for the couple confirmed. Kelly and his now-ex Andrea originally separated in 2005 after Andrea went to court seeking a restraining order against the R&B singer, saying he physically abused, harassed and stalked her. Details of the divorce settlement “will remain confidential.”
  • The Justin Timberlake-backed fashion line William Rast will hold a fashion show on February 16th at New York’s Bryant Park as part of NY Fashion Week. According to a spokesperson, Timberlake is scheduled to appear, but likely won’t perform.
