• Madonna denies the $75 million divorce-settlement figure her publicist confirmed this week. “A misleading and inaccurate statement, specifically in relation to the sums of money involved, was wrongly issued to AP this week. The financial details of the settlement will remain private,” Madonna said in a statement.

• Lil Wayne and Cash Money Records have been sued for copyright infringement after they sampled Karma-Ann Swanepoel’s “Once” for Weezy’s “I Feel Like Dying,” despite failing to negotiate a license to use the sample.
