Their utter lack of talent combined with the “cuteness” of their ages and the novelty of their abstinence will be dead and gone in 5 years–right about the time that one of them has a chance to get caught with a male hooker.

Robert Pattinson will continue to do a bunch of shitty b-rated movies, potentially landing the occasional blockbuster hit that makes him money but leaves him far away from any sort of artistic merit. The only reason Pattinson has any sort of fame now has nothing to do with his talent – it’s because he lucked into a role that was guaranteed to be loved by all the teeny-boppers (and their moms, apparently) who’d already read the Twilight books. The could’ve put anyone in that role – it wouldn’t have made a difference.

alright. Jona’s brothers are fun to look at occasionally and some songs can bring a smile to my face. But they are this huge craze that doesn’t make sense. they’re disney products that will eventually fade.
as for Rob, his fans don’t need his ranks in google to be high. We love the man for his creativity, for his reluctance at this craze about him. He doesn’t understand why people are screaming for him. He’s also openly admitted and has persisted that they are screaming for the character not him. His music is from the heart and not made for the girls that are obsessed.

The Jonas Brothers are absolutely adorable, make OKAY music and show up on Disney Channel whenever possible. Sure sure, they’re decent. BUT, and this is a huge BUT, has anyone researched Rob? Has anyone noticed his acting talent, his singing voice AND his guitar and piano talent? NOT to mention, he is the most humble guy I’ve ever seen. He doesn’t even know how famous he is and doesn’t seem to even care. He’s even stopped playing music for now because of the craziness over his famous-osity (i made it up). The fact is, he took the role because he liked the script, the director and Kristen. Conclusion, Jonas’s are great for 6-18 year olds, but Rob is just great for everyone. =)

Rob Pattinson actually has talent and his career won’t be over in five years. Rob is a gifted actor and singer, the Jonas Brothers are just the latest tweeny-bopper craze that Disney has spewed to the masses. Rob has accomplished a great deal in his short career. Rob appeals to many age groups whilst the Jonas Brothers appeal to pre-teens who don’t know good music from crap. They may get more publicity but he has more talent. I guess we’ll see who is best in just a few short years.

Umm, Robert Pattinson, definitely. One, His pants actually fit him. Two, he’s an incredible actor, and still getting better. Three, -though sometimes its hard to actually understand what he sings in songs once you do figure them out- they have a lot more meaning than “I’m hot, you’re cold…” four, he’s not caught up in being a celebrity, he’s humble even if he’s the wallpaper of almost every teen girl’s (and some mom’s, maybe even guys’?) room. The Jonas Brothers are not going to be very successful in the long going. Sure, there gonna be rich forever with the money they get now but they will not be remembered, not most pop groups are except the beatles but they were actually real and good. Rob is an aspiring actor who is doing a movie that has girls, and some gay guys, actually reading. Second, I’m going to try and be fair about this.
JoBros: They are very okay to me in music, but I will not deny that they are insanely popular at the moment and they do have a large fan base. However, so did NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys and 98 degrees. Where are they now? On Dancing With the Stars, where desperate people go for a come back, and mostly never get it. The JoBros will end up like those boy band in 5-7 years because teens grow up. And people will think of them what they think of NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys now.
Rob: Book nerds stay book nerd forever, you can change nothing about that. Ever. People still swoon over Mr. Darcy and Rhett Butler. I think Rob will always be remembered as Colin Firth or Clark Gable will, for bringing those memorable characters to life. Will his career take off from this? He likes indie films and low-profile parts. He actually thought Twilight would be small. He could make a career like Johnny Depp, or decide to do little films and be remembered only for Edward.

What I find very amusing is that half of the people saying they love Robert Pattinson are actually referring to him as the fictional character ‘Edward Cullen’! Which isn’t EVEN HIS DAMN NAME! Okay. To objectively test this, you need to get an opinion from someone that likes both Rob and the JoBros. I have been a fan of Rob since he was Cedric. I also was a fan of Twilight before it became main stream. I was even at the Midnight release of Breaking Dawn in full Prom regalia. But I am also a huge JoBro fan. Have been since summer of ‘07, aka before they hit it huge.

So, let’s look at this. If we are trying to objectify the fan craziness of both the JoBros and Rob, we need to take a few things into account. 1)Rob has been in two major move adaptations of beloved books. Therefore, so far, he has only been loved b/c the fans loved the books. He has yet to hold his own with having a prior fan base. 2) The Jonas Brothers write all their own music, and are real people. Now, i’m not saying that Rob isn’t real, but honestly now: the majority of his fans are actually twilight fans. He really isn’t all that great. Give him a few more years, and we’ll see how his “career” is going aside from the twilight frranchise. 3)The Jonas Brothers are nominated for a grammy, and multi-platinum selling artists. They have talent. And they are getting recognized for it. Talk to me again when Rob is getting acting awards of equal caliber.

So, there you have it. Jonas Brothers are better. And Robert Pattinson fans are actually just deluded Twilight fans.

I stood outside for 12 hours in below freezing weather to meet them and ended up getting FROSTBITE! So did some of the other girls who left in an ambulance, but i stayed even tho i couldnt feel my legs! I also stood outside there hotel all night in Chicago to meet them! You say Rob’s Meet and greets are crazy? My friend was almost taken away with handcuffs at a Jonas meet & greet! We definately top Rob in most crazy fans!

Wow. This is insane and ridiculous. The Jonas Brothers are real people, they show us who they are and us fans have an actual connection with them. I think Twilight fans are more in love with Edward than Robert. I dont see how Robert can have crazier fans when literally every stop on the Burnin Up tour was sold out, when half a million copies of A Little Bit Longer are sold in the first week alone, and how there is all out pandemonium EVERYWHERE these three go. They write and play their own original music. People think just because they’re connected with Disnet that theyre not a real band. They’re wrong. They are growing as musicians and people. How strange to compare careers of these people. I love the Jonas Brothers music. I am too old to drool over them, even though they are absolutely adorable. I love their image and talent. Don’t know why people dislike them because they are associated with Disney. Lots of stars started with Disney.
As for Robert, I am sure he is a wonderful actor, the accent alone wins me over, but looks wise I just don’t see it. When fans of Twilight announced him to be Edward fans were upset and disgusted. Rob Pattinson, for sure. Him playing Edward is just a plus, but he’s an amazing actor. Check out the Haunted Airman, and you’ll see why. Also he’s very modest (and like JB would say “modesty is just so hard to find…” blahblah.), and shy, its pretty cute that he doesn’t know how to take all the fame. So he doesn’t play at sell out concerts. He appears in a sell out movie. As for the craziness of the fan girls, maybe we’re just more sane, and mature (than some of you, im not bunching all the fans together). My first jb concert was Feb 14, 2008, i have been a fan since the summer of 2007, i have, like many other fans, stood in line in the cold, the hot, the wet, the dry, just to see these 3 gentlemen because i now that they help me get threw tough times, just by listening to there music. Jonas brothers have also done a lot of charity. they have their own charity and they give a lot to. they like being involved in helping people

I don’t get why everyone is so critical against the Jonas Brothers. They got signed to Disney, but a lot of celebs have been signed to Disney shows or Hollywood records.
I went to go see Twilight. I thought was an ok movie except for the fact the only thing everyone did was stare at each for three minutes at a time. Does this Pattison guy really want his acting career to be defined by staring at girls because he doesn’t want to suck their blood? I went to a JB concert and let me tell ya. LOUD! The groud shook. I lost my voice, I was dehydrated, I was sore from standing from 6-11 pm, and my ears rung for the 3 whole days! My parents said the Jo Bros’s have talent, when they said that I was stunned because they are into all those 60s. 70s, and 80s rock bands.

At a special pre show at my local movie theatre for twilight, there was a 15-20 minute lineup to get a picture with… A CARDBOARD EDWARD! But here is where my point comes in. Girls have loved JB since the beginning, while most girl who love Robert Pattinson are only in love with his character. Because I know that most likely, 95% of his fans are EDWARD fans, cuz who actually cared about his role in harry potter?

I don’t think that it’s fair to compare the two because they are in different industries (movies vs music). I also think the jonas brothers appeal to a younger, more enthusiastic demographic. I wish them both the best of luck in their careers, however I do admit that the Jonas brothers are way too young for me and I’m a Robert fan

If you ask my 6-year-old daughter, she will say JO-BROS all they way! She even wants to date Joe Jonas!!!! But if you ask me…. Right now I am a Robert fan. He’s been on my mind since July, when I first started reading the Twilight Books. (And since my husband has been gone, serving our country in Iraq.) I even thought he was very cute in “The Ring of the Niebelungs”, and “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire”. BUT, the Jonas Brothers have very nice morals, and do not have the mouth that Rob does. I wouldn’t be able to let him in my home, with his potty mouth!

yes i am proud to be a Jonas fan, how ever embarrassing the other fans may be, true Jonas fans are here to enjoy their music and support them no matter what. They were just regular kids who got lucky making a living doing what they love and are extremely passionate about. For them it is all about the music…

I had the privilege to go to a FREE concert at none other then the House of Blues in West Hollywood in November (im not really sure if Rob would voluntarily do appearances because he loves his fans…but i dont think he would). They had just won an award at the AMAs and were so happy. The concert they did was absolutely free and chock-full of their family and friends. I felt like this was their celebration after party with their friends, but because they are so nice to their fans and so grateful, they decided to invite us in, even though they know we are absolutely CRAZY! They played all their favorite songs for 2 1/2 hours straight, longer than they had ever played before.

Yes girls were pushing and shoving at the beginning and Kevin had to keep telling us to move back because people were getting smooshed up front…but they kept playing. At their concerts I am usually screaming my head off becasue I simply cant help it, but i was in so much awe, all i could do was smile. Joe stared singing a cover of “Fix You” (I love coldplay!!!) and I was sobbing, it was so beautiful. I could barely drive fast enough on the freeway on the way back to school because i was in shock that i was actually there……truly amazing (plus they were gorgeous that night!)

but of course because i am crazy, i waited in line for a whopping 20 hours for another concert in hollywood a week later. Parking lot pavement is really not the ideal place to sleep, honestly. I actually got really sick from sleeping in the cold. The girls in the front of the line though, they had been there for FOUR DAYS!! mind you they were waiting in line over Thanksgiving!!! im not that crazy, but 4 DAYS??? that just goes to show you what people will do for them, just to see them up close…but it is always worth it
