Britney News: Song Title Angers Parents, First Husband Goes to Jail

12/5/08, 10:55 am EST

Parents who bought their children a copy of Britney SpearsCircus have begun coming to the realization that the song “If You Seek Amy” is just a sneaky way to say “F-U-C-K Me,” and predictably they’re not too happy. “I was astonished and totally taken aback when I heard my 5 and 7 year old kids walking around the house singing ‘F-U-C-K’,” said one parent. “When I asked them what it was, they told me it was Britney Spears. I was horrified.” Listen, we don’t want to tell people how to raise their kids, but a Britney album is guaranteed to be stocked with sexual innuendos, from “…Baby One More Time” through Blackout’s “Get Naked (I Got A Plan).” Barsenbach goes on to complain that she felt “deceived” by the song title, as she thought the album would be filled with “acceptable content for children.”

In other vaguely Britney-related news, remember Spears’ first husband Jason Alexander? The guy who probably took a shotgun wedding a little too far and will forever be known as the guy who isn’t the co-star on Seinfeld? The poor guy was arrested this week for violating his probation linked to a 2006 DUI conviction. He’ll spend ten days in jail while his ex-wife enjoys the spoils of her latest top-selling album.

If Barsenbach is surprised to see that there’s sexual innuendo on a Britney Spears album, she’ll be shocked when she finds out that water is wet and the Earth is spherical.

Natch | 12/5/2008, 12:40 pm EST

Who in the hell is buying this album. Shame on all of you for being lame-music loving d-bags.

The girl just moans her way through a couple vocal parts that are looped ad nausem and thrown over unoriginal music and beats into a complete song.

Joe | 12/5/2008, 1:05 pm EST

Clever girl.

asparagus spears | 12/5/2008, 1:35 pm EST

not so original or clever. April Wine had a song about 20 years ago entitled “If You See Kay”

Anonymous | 12/5/2008, 2:00 pm EST

this is NEVER anything children should EVER hear!!!!!!!!!!!

waytagojoe | 12/5/2008, 2:41 pm EST

Absolutely crazy depressing and wrong. Seriously, what the crap is Britney Spears doing. This is NOT a ‘comeback’ or a life changing ‘improvement’.

rockfan | 12/5/2008, 3:45 pm EST

WTF! Since when is Britney Spears’ music acceptable for children! Btw, she definitely has made a comeback!

Joe | 12/5/2008, 4:13 pm EST

thanks for the compliment! If you dont like Britney (and I am indifferent) a) dont let your kids buy the record, b) dont listen to her or support her in any way. If this depresses you or changes how you feel about life in general, your life is empty.

waytagojoe | 12/5/2008, 4:29 pm EST

She’s selling herself like some old mold its cold and vilely bold.

Idiot | 12/6/2008, 12:32 pm EST

Some parents shouldn’t have children, including the ones that think B. Spears is acceptable for 5 to 7 year old children.

Four Nick Eight | 12/6/2008, 2:57 pm EST

Britney was marginally acceptable for 5 to 7 year olds when she was on Disney; now she’s a tasty hot pig not suitable for underage consumption.

Tipper Gore | 12/6/2008, 5:17 pm EST

if britney is found to have purposely made this song,
with it’s hidden phonetic spelling in the title,
she should be fined in proportion to how many records she sells.
now let’s see, that should be about 25 dollars.

B is back, like it or not. | 12/6/2008, 6:14 pm EST

as a music enthusiast, i am genuinely interested in what popular music is today. that being said, bands like the Jonas Brothers and Britney Spears have a huge impact on the music industry and tween kids, begging their parents to buy them the newest cd or coolest tshirt. lets face it, consumerism in this country will skyrocket these bands

so, like it or not, Britney is back

Sam | 12/6/2008, 8:04 pm EST

Ok? So some woman in Australia didn’t like one of the song titles. Where have people like her been the last decade. Britney is a sex icon love her or hate her, so why buy your FIVE YEAR old that CD? And honestly, who….really….cares?

SDH | 12/6/2008, 8:09 pm EST

Questions for the lady who bought her little children ‘Circus”
1.Do you know who Britney Spears is?
2.Have you seen her music videos?
3.Do you see her outfits on live performances?
4.Do you know that her music is no longer (basically since the start of her second album) appropriate for children?
5.Do you live in a cave?
–sounds like this lady was trying to start controversy! Well! You got your fifteen!

I hate these people! | 12/6/2008, 10:25 pm EST

Who would buy their kid a Britney record to begin with..?
.
Can we just arrest this mother now…..because she is OBVIOUSLY not capable of realizing right from wrong and should be in a str8 jacket….

Mandela | 12/7/2008, 7:07 am EST

Parents: grow up. Having kids in America today means you have to investigate what your kids are doing. That means checking out music before you buy it for them. I know that sounds like a lot of trouble but that is just the way it is. Stop complaning to people trying to be artistic (yes I know that is a stretch in this case) and trying to pass your parental responsibility off on the music industry, and other such organizations. You are responsible, it is your failing, and you should only blame yourselves. If you dont have time to investigate things for your 5-7 year old, then you shouldnt of had one and if your going to get bent out of shape over song lyrics then your only choice is to overly shelter them, ruining them socially, just so you can have your extra time.

Zahzrix | 12/7/2008, 11:41 am EST

This is Old.
Ron Wood has a tune F.U.C. Her

I like mine
If You See Kay…

Celia | 12/7/2008, 1:52 pm EST

what morons still think britney spears’ music is kid music? you could mayyyyyybe still believe that by “oops! i did it again”, when her image was overtly sexual but not necessarily her lyrics. by the time “britney” came out she was making out with madonna, “in the zone” singing about masturbation, and after that all bets were off. there’s nothing wrong with this but if you think you should buy these records for your 5 year old, then there’s something wrong with YOU or you should just do your research first.

FunkyMF | 12/7/2008, 4:51 pm EST

Britney Spears is the turd nugget that just won’t go down the toilet.

Joey | 12/13/2008, 9:38 am EST

geez..people just dont wanna see britney succeed..this mom had to confuse britney to hannah freaking montannah or something..im a slave 4u, outrageous..just a few titles that she thought were appropriate for her kids..i like britney and dont blame her for this womans ignorance…

Joey | 12/13/2008, 9:39 am EST

sarah. | 12/13/2008, 9:44 pm EST

I honestly get amused when parents complain about things they TOTALLY could have prevented. If this so called “concerned” mother, would have actually taken 45 minutes out of her day to listen to the album before just throwing it at her kids to hear, she would for surely have known first and then would not have let her kids listen. But NO, she wants other people to have to do her work for her, she should get up off her high horse and do some investigations first. Lazy parents upset me.

SMOOCH | 12/18/2008, 12:29 pm EST

This mother is so ridiculous!! if she just looked at the cd she would see britney half naked on the cover and song titles such as “Photography” which i thought said Pornography when i was quickly reading the titles. Britney is not for little kids. maybe when she was a muskateer. This mom should buy her kids Miley Cyrus or Hannah Montana. But even Miley seems like she’s ready to grown up and start singing about sex haha!

Leo | 12/20/2008, 11:24 am EST

haha, are you serious?
when has britney spears ever been child appropriate?
this mom has serious issues.

Jenna | 12/27/2008, 12:57 am EST

Honestly, do parents even bother parenting anymore? Britney’s first album was child-appropriate; everything since then has been for the older teen/adult audience. She is in her twenties; what twenty-something sings child-appropriate songs unless they are on a Disney or Nickelodeon show? Has she not followed the news in the past year? Parents: start taking an interest in your children’s lives. Why don’t you even take them outside to play instead of buying them stuff you don’t even know the content of to keep them out of your hair?

Zane | 1/8/2009, 10:49 pm EST

Britney doesn’t sing music for children anymore. She grew out of that phase in 2003, right before In The Zone came out. Then came out Blackout, the album no child should hear. Even songs like “Get Naked” and “Ooh Ooh Baby” on last year’s Blackout were just as bad, as is “Blur” and the creepy “Mmm Papi.” But they should know what to expect on an album from a 27-year-old who was the one who unleashed “Slave” 8 years ago.

@ Natch | 1/12/2009, 6:27 pm EST

Shut your mouth, you obviously don’t listen to Britney she SINGS on her ballads and even the upbeat ones (ie Kill the Lights)

I assume this bitch’s kids like Hannah Montana, a “kid” who is dating a 20 year old who has had FOUR picture scandals and we have ALL seen the way she chews that game…we know what that means.

Woman, sit down. Britney is awesome, your not. Ugh!

@ Natch | 1/12/2009, 6:28 pm EST

Who’s buying the album, anyway? You said. Apparently over 500,000 people within the first week, idiot.

BJ Connolly | 1/13/2009, 10:20 pm EST

This woman should die in a whole put her kids up 4 adpotion and basically apologize 2 britney!! She’s my idol she’s made a comeback & she’s the best.

Carol | 1/18/2009, 2:04 am EST

as much as i like britney, her music isn’t exactly for young kids……

parents should have realised that in the first place before buying the album

omgyall | 1/19/2009, 1:44 pm EST

ok, this lady seriously should have realized the kind of lyrical content that is in britney’s music before giving “Circus” to a five year old! I mean, i love britney and i have all her albums, but im not five years old!

lovebritbrit | 1/23/2009, 12:39 pm EST

It kills me that parents complain about music lyrics. I am a mother and I enjoy Britney’s music. I’m 26 I grew up with her! These parents that are making a big deal are only making their children want to listen even more. Britney is 27 let her sing to her age group. Thanks!

SevenLawlSauce | 1/24/2009, 7:40 am EST

Lol all the britney fanbois and fangirls spazz out, defend britney!! do it! do it because that will be the most valuable thing you can do for society today.. thats right.

jason | 1/24/2009, 10:09 am EST

britany is a WHORE and she dont have common sence to haev that garbage in her music, she is a loser, and why anyone would listen to taht mucic is crazy, people parents taught she was good for there kids, but all the shit she been doing, parents should have better sence too, awwwww she is only pretty with makeup like the rest of them plastered on there face, she is a skank, i cant stand her

tdbiiiil | 1/27/2009, 12:51 pm EST

I will say that to show respect to others, you must first love and respect yourself. I pray that someday she will have the courage to love herself.

Eric | 1/28/2009, 1:06 am EST

The song doesn’t even SAY F-U-C-K. The words are “If you seek Amy.” What a bunch of sick people to even hear that in it, but now that you all pointed it out it does kind of sound like it. However, how stupid is a parent to give a Britney Spears CD to a 5 year old anyway?… Did they fail to read the song titles “WOMANIZER,” “MMM Papi,” and “Phonography?” Gee I wonder what those songs could be about!? As far as not playing it on the radio I think that’s stupid too. I would have never even noticed what it SOUNDS like if not for coming across this article and listening to it again. But look up the words online. The song says “IF YOU SEEK AMY.”

Shawn | 1/28/2009, 1:35 pm EST

Your all nuts there is nothing wrong with this . You guys are just a big case of it because it’s britney how about this you can all if you seek amy yourselfs later

La-La | 1/29/2009, 11:33 am EST

Britney is entitled to sing anything the will sell. After all, she is in the music BUSINESS. It is the parents responsibility to control what their children listen to. Are parents going to start complaining about a film director when they let their children watch a R rated movie? Parents are letting tv,movies, songs, etc. become a babysitter. Spend time with your kids and you will be able to weed out the material they should not be listening to.

iF YOU SEEK AMY LOL | 2/1/2009, 2:47 pm EST

ok you know what parents why would you even buy ur little kids britney spears. her songs are not for kids u should know that so now u guys are complaning about that song well so what u should of thought of that before you even bought it. briteny is not for kids she is growing up and she is bascially say that in her songs if you seek amy is not A SONG FOR KIDS. JSUT TAKE AWAY FRO MTHEM IF YOU DONT LIKE IT INSTEAD OF COMPLAINING ABOUT IT.

come on | 2/4/2009, 10:24 am EST

I would of never heard it said that if I didn’t see this article. If you listen for f-u-c-k me I guess you will hear it. But if you are listening for If You Seek Amy that is what you hear. Give her a break already she is in her 20’s. Let her sing if you don’t like it don’t listen to her.

Girl | 2/4/2009, 2:02 pm EST

Eric | 1/28/2009, 1:06 am EST

The song doesn’t even SAY F-U-C-K. The words are “If you seek Amy.” What a bunch of sick people to even hear that in it, but now that you all pointed it out it does kind of sound like it.
____________________________ ____

Are you a bit slow?

Of course she is LITERALLY saying If you seek amy,
BUT
let’s review the sentence in which she says it:
“All of the boys and all of the girls are begging to if you seek amy.”
VS
“All of the boys and all of the girls are begging to F-U-C-K me.”

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmmm……..
Hmmmmmmm mm, which one makes sense?

JAIME MADERA & ZANDRIA | 2/5/2009, 11:13 am EST

This is the music business!!! OKAY,get that through your head! she is 27 years old! NOT a little girl! You people are stupid! do you expect her to sing barney songs? SERIOUSLY!!! It’s a clever song, and it does mean what it means. It is certainly not a song about Amy. but it’s the music business. And it’s a hit. Just like katy perry with “I Kissed A Girl.” Why are you actin’ like it’s the end of the world when there is so much more worse songs out there? So get your head out of your ass and get over it, and this turd nugget will NOT go down the toilet. She is here to stay. Also, I love how everyone talks so much crap about her and she is still on top!
WE LOVE YOU BRITNEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Junior Ramirez | 2/5/2009, 11:18 am EST

Britney Spear is NOT Miley cyrus!!! Even Miley will eventually grow up! [Not that she will ever take Britneys place]

Tracy Sedano | 2/5/2009, 3:18 pm EST

Oh, Please!!! Like your kids are going to be perfect little angels. And also why is everyone sexcist? Why is it when a girl wants to “do it” she is considered a slut and a whore, but when a guy says he wants to “do it”, Oh he is a P.I.M.P. he is the man. This is not a repetition of History when men and women are not created equal. So the people needs to quit demonstarating this.

Tracy Sedano | 2/5/2009, 3:23 pm EST

“It’s Britney Bitch”
obviously her new signature phrase is not appropriate for children.
If a parent is that dumb to not recognize that this album is apparently not suited for children.
Then its time for you to enter the real world!!!!
Dumb asses these days!! ;-P

Wally | 2/9/2009, 6:03 pm EST

If you a going to buy your child a CD without listening to it, and then get all pissed off about the lyrics because your kids are now singing them, you should have your children taken away from you. You are obviously too stupid to be raising the next generation.

Erika | 2/15/2009, 7:32 pm EST

This is freaking ridiculous. Parents are getting P.O.’d over something that they should have monitored in the first place. They should KNOW that Britney Spears is going to have very sexual music. It’s your own fault that your kid is running around singing lyrics like that. Britney DID make a comeback, and I’m sure she doesn’t care if overprotective parents get mad at her for the way that she’s doing it.
Just a tip: grow up, and move on.

Britney is not for kids anyway | 3/2/2009, 1:02 pm EST

I wouldn’t buy the album for my young daughter.

But as far as Britney goes, I would definitely “if you seek air” if she asked!

Phinney | 3/10/2009, 2:55 am EST

God are you fucking serious?!

Kids arent going around singing “EFF YOU SEE KAY” they are saying “IF you SEEK Amy”

fucking open your god damn ears and stop being so fucking over analytical.

YES britney spears music is sexual, but she is not trying to mislead you by hiding “fuck” inside of her song titles

Look at black eyed peas “Dont Phunk with my heart” the “phunk” was a DIRRECT relation to “fuck” and used as a method of getting on the radios without having it beeped out. but that still made it through, why is that?

im just gonna say one thing | 3/17/2009, 5:33 pm EST

ever since briteny spears came into the music industry shes been all abt sex. y would the mother say “i though it was filled with songs approriate kids my age”
0_o wat the hell is that suppose to mean? DOES SHE KNOW WHO BRITENY SPEARS EVEN IS?!? hahaha

If-U-Seek-Me | 3/19/2009, 10:23 pm EST

Britney is doing what she’s always done. She’s the only thing that automatically fly’s into my head when the word sex comes up. Why are adult’s making such a bigger deal out of this anyway.. Wow Britney came up with one song parent’s don’t like, when everyone’s been discouraging her because she hasn’t come up with music. So your going to punish her for doing what everyone wanted.
There are way more sexually explicit song’s and content out there, and I don’t see you attacking them. There’s a song by lil wayne called “lollipop” and I can guarantee no one is out there attacking him when he’s certainly not talking about candy. How come everyone is going after Britney? Why don’t you go after the rap bull crap? Who only talks about drugs, sex, and violence.
If you ask me, and no, no one did, but I’m just saying the children are acting more grown up about this then the actual adults are. It’s just a song, so seriously grow up. It’s not hurting your kids anymore then the actual world is.
I doubt that there’s one kid out there that hasn’t heard profanity or seen something horribly unimaginable. You can’t protect your kids from everything, and after reading this and other articles out there, this is also not the first attempt out there that a song like this was created. But the message isn’t clear so I doubt other kids will pick up the embedded message. She has very intelligently encoded this so well that no one can do anything about it. Because in the song all she is saying is “If you seek amy” and those words are very clear. She’s not coming out and saying “F-U-CK-ME”. Britney I love you and hope you keep up the good work if you ever happen to come across this.

What's next? | 3/20/2009, 8:52 pm EST

I think a lot of people are missing the point. Yes, as an artist she can “express herself” but when the radio stations play a song that is clearing spelling out F me, then we have crossed a line. It’s one thing if it was on her album with a label saying “inappropriate for children under …” but when it’s on the radio for my 4 year old to hear, they that is unacceptable. For those of you who have kids and find this acceptable or funny, it’s a pretty clear sign that you are allowing the erosion of morals. If necessary, look it up in the dictionary as your parents probably didn’t give a crap either.

Anthony :) | 3/24/2009, 10:04 pm EST

Yes my parents are so bad that they allow the erosion of morals. Oh grow the fuck up! It’s just a god damn song.
Oh, yea I said GOD DAMN, someone give me a demerit.
I’m guessing this is going to be an all out war when it comes to adults.
I’m seventeen and have heard far worse music… Yes I can believe that some adults don’t want there kids listening to music that spells out Fuck me, but seriously if your so religious, then why the fuck are you on a radio station that play’s Britney Spears in the first place?
If you haven’t noticed already, which some of you god almighty so “righteous” adults most likely haven’t. Your kid hears far more worse talk on the play grounds at school. Don’t criticize someone else’s parenting skills, when your not so impeccable yourself. I believe that she’s an amazing artist and is doing what she’s always been doing. If you haven’t quite figured it out already, Britney’s music mostly involves sexy and erotic dancing. Plus not so appropriate material. And if you wanna get angered over music then why don’t you attack some real music that needs to be banned, huh?!
Like Lil wayne and all the bull shit they sing about.
I can gurantee he’s not talking about a lollipop in his new song.
He’s talking about his cock, and if your okay with your child singing lick my cock like a lollipop pretty much, then what’s it gonna hurt if they sing Fuck me?
Also there’s even newer topic’s of bad parenting skills coming up.
Most you have a child if your in this topic, and if you do then most likely some or most of them have a cell phone. Well did you know that there’s a lot of kid’s sending nude or half nude photos of themselves through picture text?
You can say “my child would never do that!” all you want but the fact remains that, that is against the law and your child most likely puts on a front in front of you.
Which kid in there right mind find’s it completely acceptable to talk to there parents about sex, and to tell them what they do?
Exactly so worry about more pressing issues and stop fucking trying to crush Britney because she’s better then you.

Anthony Devastation | 3/24/2009, 10:06 pm EST

Love you Britney Keep up all the work :D

Toxicccccc | 3/24/2009, 10:14 pm EST

Grow some balls and stop with the whole my child shit.
It’s the parents that have the problems not the kids.
I’m seventeen and has love Britney since I was 5 I believe.
Also btw, bitch below my comment…
Don’t insult my parents parenting or anyone else for that matter.
Everyone doesn’t have to have the same religious morals as you do and believe “GOD” is our savior.
wtf ever and go get some brain cells. The next generation, well most of it anyways doesn’t swallow all this religious stuff you people try to cram down our throats. F-U-Seek-Amy is a wonderful song. And some real music you “adults” should go after is the music you ignore because it’ll be racist unless you pick on the white queen of pop.
Why don’t you go and pick on lil wayne or something?
His new song lick me like a lollipop is definately not talking about candy, and if you accept your kid singing that, then you have no buisness or right to be here complaining over a song that spells out F**k me.
And like the comment either below me or two below me boldly said “that they don’t want to hear it on the radio”. Well why are you on a station that play’s Britney Spears in the first place? If they play new music then there playing far worse music then that.
Please grow up and leave this amazing woman the hell alone.

Peice-Of-Me | 3/24/2009, 10:17 pm EST

LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE!

Peice-Of-Me | 3/24/2009, 10:19 pm EST

I can guarantee some religious person on here keeps deleting my comments too lmao.
Well I’m way smarter then most of the dumb fucks on here anyways so I’ll come up with a more productive way to stretch my comments across to others.
Maybe stickam, youtube, myspace, and such.
I’ll help speak against those against Britney

Just Married!! | 3/25/2009, 4:28 pm EST

Ok..FIRST of all..5 & 7 year old?? These children should be listening to Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Jonas Bros, Selena Gomez, Cheetah Girls and the list goes on and on! SECOND of all..Why in the HELLLL would you even THINK about buying a Britney Spears CD for children of that age?!?! That’s just plain STUPID while using very poor judgement! Did you NOT listen to her last few CDS or watch any of her music videos?? What total idiots!

Btw..I LOVE BRITNEY and YES..she IS making a COME BACK!! So far ALLL of her singles have HIT which is AWESOME! AND I will see her in Houston next wk!!

serious?? HitMeBabyOneMoreTime | 4/17/2009, 10:05 pm EST

Wooww… Let me set this straight..A song from a 27 year old woman.. Wow, who needs to grow up. Britney did. I guess its now your turn parents. Grow up..! Let them watch high school musical, take them to an amusement park, do something active, get off your lazy asses and don’t play her cd expecting that Britney is going to raise your children. Did you complain also by lil Kims “How many licks song or Lill Wayne,s ..?? Do you know britney now is even older than lil Kim when she released this song.. Her first song was Hit Me Baby One more time.. so what else can you expect when she gets older..??! Think before you protest.. There are countrys in the world who don’t even know who Britney Spears is.. so be glad your life is not that bad you big EGO…s

Tell me who forced you...? | 4/17/2009, 10:15 pm EST

Who I the world forced you to buy a Britney album.. honestly, come on tell me…. Oh and by the way the radio has buttons. You can press for diffrent channels, press the off button(witch switches of the music also, you know) Aaahw, I can’t believe I have to babysit these parents and tell them how a radio works…

The_real_mccoy | 4/18/2009, 1:50 pm EST

Okay, honestly, to the parent that said she thought there would be “acceptable content for children” on a BRITNEY SPEARS album? Come on woman! DO you have a functioning brain?!? Of course there will be sexual innuendos on there; Do you expect her (Britney) to run around singing “Old Macdonald”, or “The Itsy Bitsy Spider”?!? I think not. I’m a hugeee britney fan myself, and they shouldn’t take this off of the radio just because parents are flipping their lids about it….If you don’t like it, turn it off! Or maybe, let your children listen to it, and explain to them (in a way that they could understand) what it means, and why they shouldn’t run around singing it just yet.

The_real_mccoy | 4/18/2009, 1:58 pm EST

Oh… and being seventeen myself, I agree completely with Anthony… There’s a lot of stuff parents don’t know about these days, and freaking out because your child dropped the F bomb will only be the start…

Jordan | 5/4/2009, 5:41 pm EST

okay…I’d just like to point out that the sentence
“all the boys and all the girls are begging to if you seek amy” makes no sense. She is sounding out the word F-U-C-K. And she tells you in the beginning and the end of the video that its spelling out freaking obscenities. Also what mother doesn’t check out what she buys for her kids,,,,I’m 13 and my mom still does. Also its probably a sad fact that her kids probably heard that obscenity before. When you get to school thats where you learn all the curses and obscene things you don’t learn in home.

Lets Conclude This, | 5/5/2009, 2:24 pm EST

Come on people. Im From England. I gather most people here are American? Well In my country most of this type of music is acceptable. Im 13 years old and i believe that everyone is entitled to an opinion.

Come on parents. I agree with those that said that the parents shouldnt be giving brits album to there kids. Come on Have some common sense,

Anyway i think this long a nd winding thread needs to be concluded.

Parents need to use there heads a bit better,

On brits defence i belive this is Just Clueless parents Who arent wise to the modern day living that are trying to destroy britneys career as a singer. This is simply Parents making too much speculation.

Get over it Oldies!

Emily ! :) ;) | 5/26/2009, 1:20 pm EST

To Be Honest i think that the people that think that if you seek amy says if you f-u-c-k me are completly stupid and have no idea and must just be looking at the lyrics of the song for hours on end and trying to pick out something wrong with it i think you are complete idiots and make up the storys to try and frame britney spears up and try to make her out as a bad person. ! i always listen to britney and her songs and if you seek amy is one of her quite good song and the many times ive listned to it ive never been able to hear if you f-u-c-k me in it so i think that people that hate britney have made up storys like ‘im a concerned parent because the two of my children were going round singing f-u-c-k ‘ i mean wat the hell it doesnt sound a bit like thiss !
or it wouldnt be a secret way of putting if you f-u-c-k me !
all you haters that hat britney spears just keep hating her because shes still got a load of fans that love all of her songs ! :)

:@ stupid pathetic people that make up stories ! :@

Funny, there’s more kids defending it than there are parents griping about it on here. It only takes a few uptight ‘rents to give us all a bad name.

Ok.. I have to agree, parents should pay a little more attention to what they buy their kids.. and seriously.. sex sells.. Brit knows this, she is selling an image and idea that works. That’s pop music these days people..pay more attention and get over it. I personally figured it was a bit obvious that the lyrics aren’t exactly Child friendly.. and Emily? how old are you hun.. I mean, I’m not dissing Brit, the song is catchy.. but yeah, that is exactly what the song is saying.. and you are reading it a little wrong.. its not IF YOU FUCK ME… say “If you seek amy” and run it together “its a very clever way of saying “F-U-C-K ME” The start of the song hun.. saying it any way then that, makes no sense “All the boys and girls if you seek amy” Think about that for a minute…

This isn’t about being mad about children saying the F word. Sure, that’s going to happen sometime. If they don’t hear it in this song, they’ll hear it somewhere else. It’s just the idea that this song is giving the idea that girls are around just to be fucked by everyone; like they exist for sex. That’s the message it’s giving to these little girls. At that age we should be teaching girls to respect themselves and Britney Spears in this song has none whatsoever. No girl with respect for themselves goes around saying “everyone wants to fuck me”.

whats age matter randy !
what do you belive the papers all the time or something you must be soo gullible i think it totally ridiculous because my thought are going to be more true than most of yours because a 5 and 7 year old wouldnt listen to lyrics sharply enough to make out that it was if you f-u-c-k me ! and they would have no idea that if you seek amy was a secret way of putting if you f-u-c-k me why why why would they no way f-u-c-k ment think more into it i think every on will agree with me!!!

The thing i find most hillarious is that the more parents bitch about this song, the MORE enticed children are to go listen to it.

Why?

Because the kids get this idea in their heads “Wow, Mommy and Daddy don’t like it, so everything Mommy and Daddy dont like MUST BE GOOD”

Also, Britney’s CD has one of those cute lil “PARENTAL WARNINGS” on the CD AND any idiot who buys a kid something with out previewing it themselves first hand is asking for their kids to get bad ideas.
This goes for books, tv, video games, everything and anything.

And, about taking the song off the radio, WHO says Kids aren’t gonna get the song from some other source? You can take the song off the radio but i can guarentee kids will find a way around it.
Their friends will have it, or their friends parents won’t be so up-tight and let the kids view whatever at their home.

Trust me. Children know this trick.
So go ahead, take the song off the radio.

its still on Youtube.

Oh, and FYI:
You can buy Itunes cards in stores.
Who’s to say your darling little angel won’t buy a $10 Itunes card and stream the music at their friends homes? Or even in your home when you aren’t around?
Or even better: Steal the music off the internet some place.

Face it. The only way around it is to embrace it and not make a big freaking deal over it.
The more nonchalant a parent acts the less enticing the “forbidden media is”

heres an example to all you christians. Go back and read Adam and Eve. That’s pretty much your kids right there. If that freaking fruit wasn’t so damn ‘off limits’ Adam and Eve would never have gave a damn about it.
