Ryan Adams has released about two decent albums in the last five years, and at least six immediately forgettable ones. He’ll NEVER put out anything as good as even a middling R.E.M. album. As far as making fun of the Killers, isn’t that like Palin making fun of Bush? They are both acts that will never be anything other than fair to good. Kind of the Foghat and Grand Junction Railroads of their time.

I like RYAN ADAMS. I’m well over R.E.M. and their rehashed “Accelerate” didn’t reel me back into the muse I once had for that band, after three lackluster albums. Michael Stipe has taken aim and popped off his mouth[in his music] more often than not at whatever he chooses, for better or worse. RYAN ADAMS can be as arrogant as he pleases, cos it’s his turn!
