Beyoncé’s new solo album I Am…Sasha Fierce leads this week’s slate of high-profile releases. The record is split up into two discs: a more ballad-oriented half credited to Beyoncé and a dance-focused chunk made by alter-ego Sasha Fierce. Rolling Stone’s Christian Hoard says “the ‘Sasha’ disc boasts Beyoncé’s most adventurous music yet: She rides frothy techno on ‘Radio,’ turns out modal-sounding hooks over 808 bass on ‘Diva’ and juices the eerie, Nine Inch Nails-style beats of ‘Video Phone’ with lines like ‘Press ‘record’ and I’ll let you film me.’” Click below for the full review, as well as reviews of new music from Nickelback, David Cook, Mudvayne, Belle & Sebastian, the Fireman, Blake Shelton, Dido and the Doors.

Butch Walker put out a new album and you guys didn’t even review it. You even named him “Hot Producer” of the year a couple years ago and now he doesn’t even warrant a mention, but David Archuletta does. Why the snub? is it because he went indie and you are punishing him?
