Is it possible to create a Rock List that echoes President-Elect Barack Obama’s call for progress and a new dawning of American leadership? Yes we can. In light of this week’s historic election, this Rock List is devoted to songs about change. Leave your suggestions below and Monday we’ll reveal a playlist befitting the President’s own iPod (and yes, we know what’s in there!). So before you read any more dirt about the whole Sarah Palin fiasco, check out our picks:

Bob Dylan – “The Times They Are A-Changin’”
Black Sabbath – “Changes”
Sam Cooke – “A Change is Gonna Come”
David Bowie – “Changes”
Wu-Tang Clan – “Life Changes”
