• Despite constant denials by other members, the Kinks’ Ray Davies said the band has now reunited and are writing songs together. “It is too early to judge the quality. It depends if there’s good music.”
• Former Motown president/CEO Jheryl Busby died yesterday in Los Angeles. He was 59. During his tenure at Motown, Busby helped launch the career of Boyz II Men.
• The Deftones bassist Chi Cheng is in serious but stable condition after being in a car accident. “I don’t know everything that’s going on. I just know it’s very serious,” Deftones singer Chino Moreno said en route to the hospital.
• The mayor of Vancouver, British Columbia declared that November 28th in the Canadian city would be proclaimed as “AC/DC Day,” the same day Black Ice in Vancouver.
