Fall Out Boy have launched a contest looking for opening acts for their upcoming small venue tour. For each city of the Folie A Deux preview tour, the band hopes to recruit a local, unsigned band. Bands are encouraged to enter at the Friends Or Enemies site by submitting a MySpace link to your band’s page. Just click on that “Open For Fall Out Boy” photo and you’re on your way toward possibly being Fueled By Ramen’s newest recruit. The website’s staff will choose semifinalists, with Fall Out Boy making the final decision. Better hurry though, as the first two opening slots up for grabs are Fall Out Boy’s Boston show tomorrow night and Philadelphia show on Friday. Folie A Deux, which was originally planned for release yesterday, has been pushed to December 16th.
