I enjoy the band but why only three of them on the cover. RS please pay respect to all those required to make the music ROCK…love and peace

I agree I hope they get an equal % of all the cash ACDC makes. I do care who plays bass and drums

ac/dc fanatic | 10/30/2008, 8:34 pm EST

i can’t believe you left out the rhythm section of Ac/DC for the cover. Shame on you guys.

it would have been nice to hear something clever instead of warmed over recycled boogie riffs and songs people will have forgotten about in 6 months.
go buy “Blow your video”.it is an overlooked gem.

I give them credit for making an album when they really didn’t have to. I don’t believe they needed the money, I do believe they wanted to give their fans some new, albeit predictable, material. And at 5′2”, Angus still plays a lot taller than most.

I’ve been an avid fan since I was 13 riding in my cousin’s Z/28 in 1978 and was slayed by something called ‘Let There Be Rock’. 30 years on there still is no equal to the power riffs of AC/DC. Long live the Thunder from Down Under and Rock N Roll.

Harry Peratesties | 10/31/2008, 2:52 pm EST

This new album by AC/DC is uninspirational at best. Sounds like their same old stuff, just re-worked. BORING. Who’s buying this crap?

harpo | 10/31/2008, 4:45 pm EST

AC-DC have earned their props…and continue to ROCK. Also RS columnist Matt Taibbi is the biggest dick east of the Misssippi.

harpo | 10/31/2008, 4:55 pm EST

AC-DC rock forever….also in my previous post I spelled Mississippi correctly and your 2nd rate sight butchered it…get that mental midget Taibbi to fix it!!! And also tell him and his buddy Bill Maher to get the “small man’s complex” they have fixed too!!!!!

Lover of Rock | 11/1/2008, 10:54 am EST

“at 5′2 angus still plays taller then most”. Wonderful line my friend. And although AC/DC still have the same “sound” isn’t that the “sound” that defines them. Imagine AC/DC playing love ballads, or psychedelic prog rock, their style is what makes them AC/DC and you can take it as is or listen to other bands. love and peace

Phil Rudd's #1 Fan | 11/1/2008, 5:52 pm EST

jason Wright | 11/2/2008, 1:52 pm EST

To those dolts who complain about “warmed-over recycled boogie riffs” and that it sounds like “the same old stuff, just reworked,” I say get a grip – this is AC/DC, not Radiohead. You’re ordering meatloaf, not creme-brulee, but it’s fuckin’ great meatloaf!
