Lil Wayne revealed that he and Jay-Z will perform Tha Carter III cut “Mr. Carter” for the first time live at the Power 105.1’s Powerhouse concert in New York on October 28th. “I know the ‘Mr. Carter’ thing is supposed to be a go,” Lil Wayne said. “That’s the whole reason I think I was doing [the concert].” Weezy was less sure of a “Swagger Like Us” reunion with Jay-Z, Kanye West and T.I., however. Wayne is also planning on peeling himself out of the studio to go on tour. “It will be a big tour, live band,” he said. “I’ll be playing with them. We’re still trying to find people to get on the tour, but it shouldn’t be a problem.” M.I.A. had planned to join Wayne on tour, but her pregnancy has forced him to find other tourmates. The ever-busy new father is also planning on reuniting with his Hot Boys co-horts, Juvenile and B.G., as the pair joined Wayne in the studio recently.
