- With November 4th a mere three weeks away, Rock Daily was in Election Day overdrive. Barack Obama graced our cover for a third time, plus we caught benefit shows like the Grateful Dead in swing state Pennsylvania and the behemoth Bruce Springsteen/Billy Joel supergroup in NYC.
- We got a first listen of Kanye West’s 808s & Heartbreak at his extremely-NSFW listening party. Kayne later unleashed two new songs online: “Heartless” and “Coldest Winter.”
- After 14 years of waiting, Guns N’ Roses’ Chinese Democracy will finally arrive on November 23rd. Still skeptical? Best Buy has the track list and cover art to prove that it’s for real this time. We can taste the Dr. Pepper now.
- On the concert front, we caught the return of Tina Turner, Prince’s two ultra-exclusive shows in NYC, M.I.A. ending her retirement for the Diesel party and Neil Young opening his tour with the classics in St. Paul, Minnesota.
