  • Tracks from Kanye West’s 808s & Heartbreak continue to leak out. Yesterday it was “Heartless” and today we have the Tears For Fears-sampling “Coldest Winter.”
  • Fifteen years after Black Sunday’s release, Cypress Hill have been sued for $29 million over the sample permission on that album’s “Lock Down (Interlude).”
  • Australian music stores are selling AC/DC’s Black Ice before the street date. “We don’t care about embargoes. We are here to sell music and the fans are here to buy it,” said one retailer.
  • Jimmy Page said he would not endorse a campaign to get Led Zeppelin a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Still, the fan-driven pursuit to get Zep recognition in Hollywood can be followed here.
