Great, I’ve heard 10 of the 14 Chinese D tracks. I hope there are three albums and not just three covers.

At least the mixes will be better if nothing else.

Correction – I’ve heard 11 of the 14 tracks.

A warning?! | 10/16/2008, 11:28 am EST

Hey RS:

How about a NSFW warning for the Kanye link?!!?

Thanks!

I’ve heard a majority of the Guns n Roses tracks…they’re absolutely incredible. Hopefully open minded individuals can focus on the actual talent and originality in the new album instead of just comparing it to Appetite for Destruction 20 years ago and since it doesn’t sound anything like it they talk trash about it without even giving it a chance. For those who are open minded…and in need of some change from this era of terrible music we have…you are in for a treat. Stay tuned!!!

Chinese Democracy will go to number one soon after release. So much bashing goes on about the ‘new’ versus the ‘old’. But what everyone wants is Axl’s music. He is the brains behind the music; very fortunately in the previous lifes of GNR, he was united with other superb musicians, hence the art they created. But now, it’s a completely different set of outstanding musicians, composing melodies under the maestro of Axl. I’ve heard most all the songs: ground breaking….

I can’t wait for the cd. I’m gonna break my rule of never buying a record anymore and go and get ‘CD’.This is well worth the fuckin’ wait. I’ve listened to 11 of the songs and they’re what killer hard rock should be. Watch out, lame ass mofos, real rock music is making a comeback! Go GN’R!

Everyone wants to buy this Chinese Democracy album out of curiosity–you can only imagine that after years and years of hard work and fine tuning what Axl Rose and his cohorts have cooked up. But me…I heard a few tracks like every other illegally-downloadin’ American, and, well, let’s just say it isn’t going to be the next Use Your Illusion. Employing the same screeching vocals, pistol-of-fire guitar harmonics, and megalithic choruses, it has the formula for success–but no soul.

Axl has enticed us with leaks that make this momentous occasion only more nerve-racking, so it only makes sense that everyone is going to be bursting at the seams to hear this. And why shouldn’t they? I mean, aren’t GnR one of the greatest rock bands ever? Maybe back in their glory days. But this is most likely just another one that’s going to receive huge album sales and zero playback value.

Sorry for the negative posting. I just have yet to be amazed by another old rock group to produce anything worthwhile (See: AC DC, Metallica, Queen).
