Britney Spears sat down with MTV for an in-depth interview as part of an upcoming For the Record documentary dedicated to the pop singer. The doc will air on November 30th, two days before the release of her new album Circus. “So much has gone on over the last couple of years and there’s a lot that people don’t know about me that I want them to know,” Spears said of the documentary. “I wanted to make this film because I started to feel like I wasn’t being seen in the light that I wanted to be seen in. This is an opportunity to set the record straight and talk about what I’ve been through and where I’m headed.”

The documentary will also include footage of Spears rehearsing, winning at the VMAs and shooting the video for her new single, “Womanizer.” The MTV preview includes Spears’ comments on the shaved head era: “I sit there and I look back. I’m a smart person, what the hell was I thinking?”

Who cares? Why is this news? Rolling Stone has turned into a teen rag. Jonas Brothers on the cover, but not The Who (when “Endless Wire” was released in 2006). Boo!

Having been bombarded with the negative twist that the media puts out, I think we’re all eager to hear Britney’s side of the story.

I look forward to the documentary, and her rise back to the Pop throne.

I am soooo looking forward to this documentary about Britney Spears. We really don’t hear enough about Britney and I would really like to know more detail about her life and where she’s heading. I really hope she “sets the record straight” because she is such an intelligent woman. And I just can’t wait until that new album comes out. I am sooo psyched for it to come out….. Yeeeeeahhh aaaaiiighhhtt!!!!
