AC/DC have chosen an opening band for their upcoming North American tour, hand-selecting North Ireland rockers the Answer. You may remember the Answer from David Fricke’s column following their performance at this year’s SXSW festival. The Answer released their debut album Rise in 2006. If an opening slot for AC/DC doesn’t mean you’ve hit the big time, Guitar Hero: World Tour has also tapped the band’s “Never Too Late” for its track list. The Answer will precede their AC/DC stint with their US live debut at a club show during NYC’s CMJ music marathon.
