American Idol runner-up David Archuleta and Guns N’ Roses don’t have much in common, but now the two artists share the same management team as Archie has signed with Azoff Management. Azoff is also the home of the Eagles, Christina Aguilera, Morrissey and the New Kids on the Block. Archuleta won’t be straying that far from the guidance of his infamous stage dad however, as Jeff Archuleta will co-manage his son’s career along with Azoff’s Jared Paul. While Idol’s own 19 Recordings had first option on managing Archie’s career, they passed and instead linked up with AI winner David Cook, allowing Archuleta to sign with Azoff. Archuleta’s first album will still be released via 19 Recordings on November 11th.
