This week’s featured artist on the RollingStone.com Breaking blog is Jamey Johnson, an Alabama badass who first made his mark as a co-writer of Trace Adkins’ crossover hit “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk.” His own album That Lonesome Song is a more sober collection of songs about hard-living and heartbreak. Click below for more on Johnson, including the video for his hit “In Color.”

Jamey Johnson played a show in Ringgold, Ga on Thursday, Oct 2nd. HE WAS TERRIBLE! The first two songs were great, then he began drinking. He rambled while the other performers’ time and my time was being wasted. He interrupted the other performers’ storytelling. He couldn’t remember the lyrics to his own songs and worst of all – his guitar was OUT OF TUNE the entire concert! The other performers and the crowd was trying to get him to sing rather than ramble. He was very unfprofessional.

That is not true at all. I was at that show and he was the only real thing there. Maybe they should have just let him play his music as opposed to forcing him to blend in with those other clowns.
