The Red Hot Chili Peppers, No Doubt, the Offspring and many more will contribute hand-signed merchandise and other items to a charity auction that will benefit Lit drummer Allen Shellenberger. Shellenberger was recently diagnosed with a grade 4 malignant brain tumor. RHCP will provide a copy of their Stadium Arcadium signed by all four members of the band, while No Doubt will auction off an autographed amp. Among the other cool items are a guitar lesson with virtuoso Steve Vai, a Knocked Up poster autographed by Judd Apatow, a painting by actor Pierce Brosnan and a dinner with Lit. The auction is going on now on eBay. Shellenberger, who is currently undergoing radiation and chemotherapy, is optimistic and ready for the fight ahead.

It’s good to see stars rally around a friend like this in a time of immense need.

Best wishes for Allen in his recovery!
