“I Kissed a Girl” singer Katy Perry has already been commemorated with her own 12” doll, thanks to Integrity Toys. The limited edition figurine was crafted by dollmaker Jason Wu in collaboration with Perry, and features a mini-Perry dressed in the singer’s “signature fashion look, with her belted gold mini dress with accordion-pleated skirt.” The initial run of Perry dolls have already sold out at the price of $49.99. The site is taking names for the wait list, however. To be honest, the doll looks nothing like Katy Perry, or even Zooey Deschanel for that matter. It looks like your run-of-the-mill Barbie doll, except with black hair, more make-up and a pissed-off look on its face. Put a classier dress on it and you could sell it as a Dita Von Teese doll.
