After the 1995 MTV Video Music Awards, Kurt Loder sat down to talk to Madonna during the aftershow, and Courtney Love crashed the party, announcing her entrance by throwing a compact at the Material Girl’s head. What follows is an inrcredible piece of “keep the cameras rolling” history, where Love and Madonna say patronizing things about Alanis Morissette, compare shoes and discuss whether or not dating rock stars is a good idea. The whole seven minutes is powered by Loder’s visible frustration. The clip apparently comes from a raw feed, which explains Loder’s frustration at his producer and the lack of censorship of Courtney’s language. Click above for the whole trainwreck.
