News Ticker: AC/DC, Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, The Smiths

  • AC/DC are asking fans to create their own video for “Rock & Roll Train” for a new YouTube contest. Among the prizes are Angus Young’s guitar and signed copies of Black Ice.
  • After briefly being denied, Busta Rhymes was granted entry into the U.K. in time to perform at London’s Royal Albert Hall. Immigration officials had detained Busta due to “unresolved convictions” in the U.S.
  • Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes will be remembered with the upcoming tribute album Eye-Legacy. Unreleased vocals by the TLC rapper will be merged with guests like Missy Elliott, Chamillionaire, Lil Mama and Tupac. The album is out November 11th.
  • A new compilation of rarities and singles by the Smiths approved by Morrissey and Johnny Marr will be released this November and will feature singles, rare mixes and demos.

And this fan is asking AC/DC guitarist Angus Young to get rid of that school boy outfit look. At his age, he looks ridiculous and there’s nothing wrong with changing one’s appearance every now and then.
