To express his frustration over the censorship of his complaint about product placement in his video, Pete Wentz posted a picture of Popeye with the word “Censored” pasted over his mouth. But who knew that Bluto’s nemesis was a regular reader of Rock Daily? Following the news about Wentz, Popeye the Sailor Man wrote “Well blow me down. I didn’t give Mr. Wentz permishkin to use me face on the website. Or to have a “censored” tape over me mouth. I gots me a noggin to eats me some spinach and give that Wentz a good pulverizing. Uck ka ka ka ka.” It’s good to hear that not only does the venerable Sailor Man stay current on his rock news, but he also hasn’t lost his sense of humor. Still, that doesn’t mean Popeye won’t be litigious.
