The fundamental sound of Oasis will probably never change — they’ll always slather Liam Gallagher’s snotty voice over piles of Beatles hooks. But Dig Out Your Soul represents the biggest boundary-push for them in their career, as the album features some epic psychedelic flourishes and songs written by band members who don’t share Noel and Liam’s surname.
