- Bono has a blog at the Financial Times, where he will be covering the Millennium Development Goals conference at the U.N. In one entry, he calls French President Nikolas Sarkozy “a tough guy.”
- Former American Idol star Clay Aiken announced that he is gay. Aiken cited the birth of his son as the reason to go public. “I cannot raise a child to lie or to hide things,” he said.
