• Les Paul will release Les Paul & Friends: A Tribute to a Legend on September 30th. Among the friends that will join the 93-year-old guitarist are Slash, Joe Perry and Peter Frampton.

• Scottish post-rockers Mogwai were forced to cancel their upcoming American tour following last weekend’s ATP Festival appearance after drummer Martin Bulloch had problems with his pacemaker. Bulloch will travel back to Scotland to meet with his cardiologist.
