• Radiohead will allow fans to remix the In Rainbows cut “Reckoner.” Fans will have the option of being six individually priced song stems starting tomorrow.
• Further proof of Guitar Hero’s influence: Guitar Hero: Aerosmith topped the first week sales of any Aerosmith album, selling 567,000 copies and generating $25 million in revenue.
• The next edition of the War Child charity compilation series will feature Beck covering Bob Dylan’s “Leopard-Skin Pill Box Hat,” Hot Chip performing Joy Division and Duffy attempting Paul McCartney’s “Live and Let Die.” The album is due out November 22nd.
• Old school San Francisco punks Flipper were forced to cancel their upcoming tour after bassist Krist Novoselic, formerly of Nirvana, left the band to take care of “responsibilities at home.” Flipper are seeking a new bassist.
