AC/DC Reveal “Rock N’ Roll Train” Video, Go Paperless Ticket Route

9/19/08, 9:00 am EST

Behold, the video for AC/DC’s “Rock N’ Roll Train.” It has all the ingredients of an AC/DC video: Angus Young in a schoolboy outfit, fire, sweat and Brian Johnson wearing a vest, with footage of train crashes added for thematic continuity. “Rock N’ Roll Train” is the first single from the band’s upcoming Black Ice, due out in Wal-Marts on October 21st. The album will be followed by a tour, with AC/DC implementing the new paperless ticketing technology for select seats. The paperless tickets will “help ensure fan club members and fans purchasing designated seats will be able to secure tickets at face value,” Ticketmaster said in a statement. Both Tom Waits and Metallica have embraced the new ticketing program, which requires buyers to show identification when arriving at the venue.

But the fan club only allows the purchase of up to two tickets…..so how would your proposal(s) work? Did the guy you know buy these tickets with a fan club membership or did he actually get them without the fan club membership

It is a happy day for ticket scalpers when a band of AC/DC’s size embraces this type of system.

For anyone interested, here is a couple of ways you can make a TON of money on this show, thanks to “paperless” ticketing.

#1) Buy 3 tickets, sell 2 and escort the people into the show. Because there won’t be as many tickets on the secondary market, you will be able to get much more money for your tickets. Probably up to $500 per ticket even for sub-par seats.

#2) Work with a friend. Buy 4 tickets and sell all 4, have a friend buy a pair of tickets. You escort 3 people into the show and your friend escorts the 4th. Let them sit in the good seats and you can even leave the show with your cash. THe brokers are going to make a killing off this show, so you should too!

A guy I know already sold 2nd row seats to the Ohio show for over $1500 per ticket.

ACDC should copyright those chord changes.
