- Disco collective the Village People were honored this weekend with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The band’s original Indian, Soldier, Construction Worker and Policeman were all on hand and in costume for the festivities.
- Dizzee Rascal and the Sugar Hill Gang will collaborate on a song together, Gang member Master Gee says. The rap pioneers are reportedly working on a new album set for release next year.
- MySpace Music is taking another step toward finally becoming a reality as the site has begun recruiting sponsors like McDonald’s, Sony and Toyota to advertise on MySpace’s “mix of free downloads, song playlists and personal music players.”
