No metal isn’t the only Genre out there that is true. However if you want a game that is challenging and the music keep you going Ramblin man Is not going to do it for anyone. This game should be at least 65% metal and the beginning songs can be suck genres.

Metal isn’t the only genre that involves guitar. In my opinion constantly mashing the strum button up and down for a full 6 minutes isn’t all that fun. I understand that guitarist for metal bands are sick at what they do, but come on now you need to appreciate other styles of music. This is the greatest set-list in all the music genre games.

I have every GH and RB2 and this set list BLOWS. Sooo many songs that I have been playing on Rock Band for months. No Disturbed, Slipknot, Megadeth, Buckethead, Alice in Chains or SRV. Why would’nt they include these people instead of Fleetwood Mac, Tokio Hotel and the freakin spanish songs that suck butt. Bullet for my Valentine and Tool are the only reason I bought this. GH needs to stick with guitar and let RB handle drums.

To all the idiots out there, let me set the record straight. A little company called Harmonix developed the original Guitar Hero. The first two (arguably the best ones) were done by Harmonix. However, Activision decided to give Harmonix the boot and develop the game through a cheaper company. Harmonix then went ahead and developed Rock Band…so for all those saying that Guitar Hero is better because it was around longer and just retarded. Also, Rock Band already has 468 songs to choose from (or that have been confirmed at least) including over 10 full albums compared to GH’s 1. Also…one thing I found funny…Rock Band came out with thier setlist MONTHS ago. June to be specific. Then THREE MONTHS later, GH releases theirs, and they end up having NINETEEN songs similar. Activision is a freaking joke. Your money is better spent on Rock Band and it’s weekly DLC.

what i think that they need to do for the next guitar hero is sell a game that has nothing on it to begin with and then they have a huge list of songs to choose from and you can choose about 100 songs of your choice and download them for free and then everyone could get any song they wanted

GH rocks RB sucks all the equipement broke on mine after a week!!! the setlist for GHWT is awesome… and anyway RB came along a long time after GH and in the end its basically the same idea so i dont see how people can say that GH sucks and RB rules if GH came along first. so stop all the whining, the fact is Guitar Hero is the best and Rock Band is just a copycat of the whole idea.

Dude ive had it since it came out, play it every day pretty much and its fine for me nothing has broken so far,the guitar sucks but singing and drums r awesome…still they definiteley didnt make the tech…i mean there are already electronic drums and kareoke machines….they definiteley made it more compact,cheaper and its still pretty durable considering im a freakin maniac on the drums. Plus there are a lot of the same songs on the games and u can transfer DLC from reg rockband to rockband2…guitar hero will always lose for me

I was really disappointed with this setlist until i saw that they had not 1, not 2, but THREE songs from Tool. The one Nirvana song helps, but i’m still not too happy about this list. Not a single song from Radiohead or the Pixies in the entire history of Guitar Hero and only one Modest Mouse song on this one, and it’s not even thier best.
