- Kanye West is streaming the proper studio version of his new single “Love Lockdown” over at his blog now. West also revealed the single’s awesome deflated-balloon artwork.
- Snoop Dogg has a new ally in his fight to get back into Australia: Actor Russell Crowe. Crowe wrote a letter to the Australian Minister of Immigration, saying “I have known Snoop Dogg for 3 years…[he] poses no threat to Australia.”
- Ticketmaster has linked up with mobile company Research In Motion to produce technology allowing BlackBerry users to browse and purchase tickets through their phones. The software should be ready by year’s end.
- After splitting from her husband of 11 years, Sarah McLachlan documented the experience for two new songs that will appear on the singer’s upcoming greatest-hits collection Closer: The Best of Sarah McLachlan, out October 7th.
