This week’s Republican National Convention ruffled all sorts of feathers this week, as Rage Against the Machine stirred the pot and the McCain campaign used Heart’s “Barracuda” as a theme song for VP candidate Sarah Palin, much to the chagrin of Nancy Wilson. What Palin should have done was consult the readers of Rock Daily, who are always quick to provide useful, practical advice. For example, reader CRS2265 offered up this idea: They should use artists that support Republican views. One comes to mind being Ted Nugent. They could have used “Wang Dang Sweet Poontang” for her entrance!” We’ll be waiting for the comment from the Nuge’s camp, though it’s unsure even he supports shooting wolves from planes.

It is frightening when you think that McCain at the top of the Republican ticket for President is so desperate to improve his position with women at large and possibly gain some of that vote that is going now to Obama to ask such an “airhead” to be the second on the ticket and if by tragic circumstance he be elected she would be second in line to govern this nation and be the leader to represent the American people to the rest of the world. I am all for electing women to office from city council to President of the United States but my God how in the world did he and his top advisers truly come to a consensus that Sarah Palin was smart enough, experienced enough and far more importantly equipped to deal with all the complex issues that face this great country and the mind boggling events that are taking place on the world stage on a daily place that challenge the best of minds in this country. If this was not so serious it truly would be for great comedy (dark at that) and the humor it evokes would be a gift considering all the devastating events that continue to require the constant attention of world leaders.PLEASE FOR GOD’S SAKE..someone grow some testicles to speak up and tell Mr. McCain tha he is not only going to lose this election but in the future history will remember this as one of the most political follies of all our years of electing a President and Vice President. No way, no how, Mcain and definitely never…never…never Palin!!!
