Looks like this will be the first AC/DC album that I won’t buy. I would rather (expletive delete) than go to WalMart.

I bought every album since I listened to my first AC/DC album in 1979 (“High Voltage”, thanks to Helge Arnold!). I’ll be getting this one, too, although I’m not really convinced by “Rock’n’Roll Train”. I can’t quite make up my mind about this song: On one hand, it sounds a bit worn out, there’s nothing new to it, nothing fresh. On the other hand, that’s what I like most about the song: AC/DC remains the same, no matter what happens. They sound alike for so many years now. AC/DC never reinvented themselves like many other bands did, they never changed their style.
To my mind, the last AC/DC album that really kicked ass was “For those about to rock”. Nevertheless, I’ll buy the new album, too, for one simple reason: I want to be able to sing along each and every song when I’m at the concert. Although I hope they’ll play the old songs, I’ll be fine anyways: The next tour will probably be their last tour, and I’m thankful for the music they gave to me and all of us during the last 30+ years, so I’ll salute and have a drink on them.
I’m eager to see them in concert in Germany for the third and maybe last time in my life. I’ll be there with some friends, having a good time.

AC/DC is simply the best Rock & Roll Band of ALL Time, with Boston, Scorpions, Molly Hatchett, Blackfoot trailing not too far back behind them.
Many speakers have been blown out from cranking their High Powered music to past the limits.

I am a huge AC/CD fan, but will not be getting this one. The deal with Wal-Mart is BS. The lyrics and titles have never really mattered. If the guitar hook gets ya then thats what counts, cuz they’ve always wrote about tongue and cheek sex lyrics anyway. They do what they do best, so you gotta give credit where credit is due!!!

All of the indies will send someone to Wal-Mart to buy it for $11.88 and they will sell it for $15.00. So will Amazon resellers. what do you think the wholesale cost to an indie store is anyway? It was $10 a Cd in 1997 when I owned a store, had to have gone up since.

I can’t wait for this album. AC/DC are one of the only bands of their day that still do it the same aswell as Motorhead. Judas Priest’s new album was not very good and let’s face it Iron Maiden are still good but have not been the same in many years. If AC/DC were to change they would be called sell-outs. I don’t think it would matter what they did their will always be people that it won’t be good enough for one reason or another. Like the old sayin goes DAMNED IF YOU DO DAMNED IF YOU DON’T. Between takes Brian did sing for us and his voice sounds GREAT.

And if you don’t believe i was at the video shoot. Then how will i know there will be Giant cogs and Gear wheels on the stage behind Phil on Drums and around the band including Flames and CO2. Watch this space.

Certain bands were made just to rock. ACDC has and that’s all they ever will do. I can’t imagine this album will be weak. Rock N Roll people, it ain’t rocket science. Turn it up and go with it, quit trying to figure it out.

The best part about AC/DC is knowing what you’re gonna get. It all might sound similar but no one does it better than AC/DC. This will no doubt be a mean rock record thats only meant to be blasted.
