The Smashing Pumpkins will play a free show at Orlando, Florida’s Hard Rock Live as part of the Samsung AT&T Summer Krush series. The concert will take place a week from today on August 22nd. Tickets are being distributed for free through the Summer Krush website, so if you’re from the northern Florida region, enter for your free tix here. According the Pumpkins’ MySpace page, by entering “Pumpkins” in the Summer Krush comment box while applying for tickets, your ticket form will get priority. The Summer Krush series stages free concerts in select cities throughout the country. Among the highlights, Nas will play NYC’s Webster Hall on August 27th, Nelly will perform at Atlanta’s Tabernacle on August 19th and Good Charlotte will rock the Fillmore in San Francisco on September 16th.
