Metallica’s first album came out when I was 11 and I have been a fan ever since and ever will be. I have passed on my worship to my son who is now a teenager in the garage with his guitar rockin’out the tallica! Come back to Atlanta SOON!

Since the album dropped awhile back, the rock stations have been playing it nonstopped, and I must say, while it’s not exactly Master of Puppets or …And Justice for All, it’s still pretty darn good. As close as they’ve come to the feel and sound of those albums in a long time.

Metallica Fucking Fan | 9/3/2008, 3:37 am EST

Metallica’s first album came out when I was born, How fucking cool is that, and whats cooler is they fucking rock, seen one live show and they are awsome. The most amasing band ever rock on for ever!!!

krissy | 8/21/2008, 3:33 pm EST

Metallica fucking rocks! they always have and always will. so they changed their style a bit in the st. anger album, SO FUCKING WHAT! they still are doing it and they have and always will fucking rule! they’re still the three greatest musicians out there.(sorry rob) there are few guitarist that can still do what kirk does. he’s the best along with lars on drums and james with vocals and guitar. he may have blown his voice out, what we all had grown to love, but he’s here isn’t he? they still are making true fans happy with just being here and hey, the death nagnetic album will rule and for those who won’t think so, that don’t love metallica no matter what, then you blow! go listen to a fucking madonna album!!

Too often artists claim they are going back to their heyday-era album sound for their newest album, and they are always far from it…

We’re always given the “try something new” followed by “went back to heyday” back and forth whereas it just never delivers anywhere.

Don’t give us what you think will sell, give us what you truly heartfelt enjoy playing.

This sounds like a Re-Load reject.
Still better than St. Anger though.

Not bad. Not bad at all. At least it has a freaking guitar solo in it.

H. Bomb | 8/11/2008, 3:48 pm EST

The recording quality on the vid kinda sucks, but I heard that song on one of the Mission: Metallica trailers and can say it is dope as shit!

This next album is supposed to be a throw-back to the “…And Justice for All” era so, if they pull it off, it will probably put them right back in the rock & roll throne! :-D

for not being a hardcore metallica fan, I really want metallica’s new album to be good. After the humiliation that was st. anger/the documentary/the napster fiasco, they deserve some respect again because they were/are such an important band to so many people.
This song seems to show that they may be going in the right direction.
