Prog rockers Coheed and Cambria are planning to record a prequel album based on their series of albums that inspired lead singer Claudio Sanchez’s comic book series The Amory Wars.
Live Nation posted a second quarter income of $1.2 million. Despite the increase, numbers were still down from over the same quarter last year, but huge tours from Madonna and Coldplay keep the company on the rise.
Erik Darling of the folk group the Weavers died after a battle with lymphoma. He was 74. Darling joined the Weavers after Pete Seeger departed and penned the folk hit “Walk Right In” as a member of the Rooftop Singers.
Perhaps trying to improve on his faked criminal record, Akon missed another court date to face charges for throwing a 15-year-old fan off the stage during a concert. Akon is next expected in court September 3rd.
