• The Killers are considering naming their third album Day and Age. The record — produced by Confessions on a Dance Floor’s Stuart Price — would borrow its name from a lyric in one of the band’s new songs, “Neon Tiger.” The album is due out in November.
• RS cover boys Jonas Brothers said that they’re up for a sequel to their massively-successful TV movie Camp Rock. A Disney Channel spokeswoman confirmed that a sequel was in development.
• With Mark Ronson in the producer’s seat, the Kaiser Chiefs will release their new record Off With Their Heads on October 13th in the UK. Lily Allen will appear on the Chiefs’ third album.
• American Idol producer Nigel Lythgoe is reportedly scaling back his participation on the next season of AI in order to help launch So You Think You Can Dance in other countries.
