  • Amy Winehouse was rushed to a London hospital yesterday after suffering a reaction to an undisclosed medication. The singer was kept overnight and released this morning.
  • Download the Walkmen’s new album You & Me — originally due out August 19th — right now for only $5. The band will donate every dollar from the download to the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, as the band has a friend undergoing treatment there.
  • Sugar Ray singer Mark McGrath is out as host of celeb show Extra and will be replaced by Saved by the Bell actor Mario Lopez.
  • Oklahoma City rockers Hinder will release their second album Take It to the Limit on Election Day, November 4.

These days there are more stories about Amy Winehouse’s medical condition, rehab stints, altercations and breakdowns than there are stories about her music and any new album activity. Amy ought to write an autobiography. It’ll definitely be a bestseller because people love reading about other’s suffering and turmoil.
