On Saturday Stephen Malkmus, Broken Social Scene and a slew of indie-rock fans descended on Brooklyn, New York’s Coney Island for the Village Voice’s annual Siren Festival. Since the eccentric, historic beachfront area is being threatened with destruction (developers are set to redo the area, Freak Show and all), Rolling Stone sent a few photographers to document what could be the final fest in the shadow of the famous Cyclone.
