Britney Spears has finally settled her custody dispute with ex-husband Kevin Federline after agreeing to give K-Fed full custody of her two sons in exchange for visitation rights. While Federline was not seeking full custody — in fact, he insisted that Spears be involved in the active parenting of the children — he nevertheless was “delighted” with the final deal. Under terms of the agreement, Spears’ visitation rights could “increase over time.” People may question why Spears would so easily give up her pursuit of custody after the two-year-long court battle, but the pop star has a lot on her plate, including a summer spent recording her new album that might detract from her ability to properly parent.

I don’t understand how some people can be so judgemental. Have you walked in Britneys shoes. Look, I’m not really a Britney fan, but come on, give her a break. As far as Kathys comment, you need therapy. Who gives you the authority to judge anyone and then to say what Britneys kids are going to say when they grow up. Give me a break. You need to let some of you inner anger go.

She may be the worst mother EVER. Her career is more important than her children. But, we always knew that, didn’t we? When these boys grow up, they are going to have to go through some serious therapy… why didn’t mommy love us? And, to the people who are always “shutup! I love Britney!” when you say anything realistic about the situation… grow up. You know deep down that Britney is just a lazy pathetic excuse for a mother.

Nice to see how your career is more important than your kids.

this girl killed a perfectly good jone jett song. Why should rolling stone waste money, paying someone to write about her. She isn’t worth listening too. I would rather listen to real music.

I hope Brit gets healthy and makes another great pop record ! My kids bought home her CD’s, at first listen I found her pop lightweight, but after it sank in I found her tunes fun, sexy, and surprisingly well-written ! I’ll be the first in line to pick up her CD when she’s finished making it ! You go girl !!!

Why does Rolling Stone care about this?? What happened to the magazine that printed “Only The News That Matters”?
