• Barenaked Ladies frontman Steve Page was arrested and charged with felony fourth degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police allegedly saw Page and a friend doing a large amount of cocaine.
• Former Mighty Mighty Bosstones guitarist Nate Albert was named VP of A&R at Universal Republic Records. Besides being a Bosstone, Albert also spent time as an artist manager and A&R consultant.
• Outkast’s Andre 3000, Kanye West and Fonzworth Bentley form the trio Cool Outrageous Lovers of Uniquely Raw Style in this video for the song “Everybody.”
• The man who has been masquerading around Ontario pretending to be David Lee Roth has been uncovered. Toronto police have identified him as David Kuntz.
