fall out boy make harmless power pop records which are catchy as hell and have a bit (and only a wee bitA) of edge or meaning moreso than the average fluff. i admit i listen to them but i also admit that there are a millions groups better. they don’t claim to be great so can’t really hate.

Honestly, i never get why people read an article, then slate it, have you nothing better to do? Fall out boy are great song writers, everyone who listens to their music knows this, they may not be the greatest, but there freakin good.

I think it’s funny though. Haters just make them more famous. It just makes them bigger and well known. Even though it makes no sense to read something when you hate it so much and know what you are going to read and wate your life trying to hurt them with your words they will probaly never read and make them bigger and more famous for hating on them. Fall Out Boy has been my favorite band for four years and I’ve been in their fan club for three years. Their music isn’t just fluff and crap. If you trully listen to the lyrics you could tell there’s more meaning behind the words. They are all talented boys and they deserve the fame they have earned. They aren’t one of those bands that rise out of nowhere and play an arena tour a few months later. The boys have worked their way up and didnt play there first arena tour until 2006 when they were around way before that. Saying hateful things about them aren’t going to make them break up and stop being a band and it shouldn’t even effect the haters because no one is forcing them to listen to them, buy their cds and merch, or go to their shows. Their die hards will always be there and they still have fans and even the teenyboppers. You guys need to grow up and mature a little. It doesn’t matter if their fans are 13 or 27. I was a fan when i was 13 and now I’m 17 and I’m going to stick with them.

Fall Out Boy has some of the most incredible lyrics and music out there. If you actually sat down and listened to the full Infinity on High CD, maybe you could critizize, but most of the people hating only heard Arms Race or Thnks fr the Mmrs. These boys are what honestly got me into this kind of music, and hearing something like AC/DC might be interesting, and for all anyone knows, extremely good. You can say they can’t pull it off until they do or they fail. Peter might have turned into a jerk-off, and I might have lost a bit of respect for him, but his lyrics are amazing. And Patrick Stump is an amazing singer. Joe Trohman has a hell of a lot of energy on stage. Andy Hurley may be quiet, but has ideas and is full of spirit. I’ve seen them four times live, and I’d never take them back, because it got more amazing everytime. Seriously, LEAVE FALL OUT BOY ALONE. Thanks.

Fall Out Boy is alright, but I wouldn’t go far as calling them the best song writers of our generation.
