• Bruce Springsteen will digitally release Magic Tour Highlights, a four song live EP featuring late E Streeter Danny Federici’s final performance with the band. All profits will go to the Danny Federici Melonoma Fund.
• Responding to reports yesterday that he’s going to anger management, Kanye West said in his blog “I have never had any conversations about anger management. If anything, I need anger enhancement!! lol!”
• Bloc Party’s big BBC surprise yesterday turned out being a new song called “Mercury,” with a video in tow. The single will be released in mid-August.
• Busta Rhymes might be the next rapper dropped from Interscope. Rhymes allegedly had a conflict with Interscope president Jimmy Iovine while recording his second album for the label.
