Major League Baseball Teams With Projekt Revolution Tour

Major League Baseball continues to appeal to music fans, this time linking up with the Projekt Revolution tour in a new promotion. Random fans who attend the 24-date tour will receive a lanyard that can be exchanged at Champs Sports stores for a USB wristband featuring four unreleased MP3s by Linkin Park plus five other acts from the Projekt line up. If you’re not one of the random fans who receive the lanyard, you too can get the USB wristband simply by buying $50 worth of MLB merchandise at the store. MLB will also have a presence at the tour itself, tagging along with a tractor-trailer filled with pitching machines, batting cages and video game kiosks. As previously reported, MLB will stage a free Bon Jovi concert on July 12th in New York’s Central Park to commemorate this year’s All-Star Game, the last to be played in this incarnation of Yankee Stadium.

Correction…I just walked into a Champs store & because I was wearing my Minutes To Midnight shirt, the dude behind the counter just gave me the wristband for free. No $50 worth of MLB merch needed! Gotta love free music!

What’s wrong with LP? I know you have your opinions, but don’t flame. They’re a great band filled with great people and a great fan following. Don’t flame. But 50 bucks is a bit pricey. They should bring it down to about 35 bucks or something.
We need those extra 15$ for gas these days.
