  • Shoegazers My Bloody Valentine returned to the stage for the first time in sixteen years this weekend in London for the first of two warm-up gigs before they set out on a reunion tour.
  • Lionel Richie thinks the Commodores could reunite within the next two years. “We better do it now, or in the next 10 years nobody would care,” Richie said.
  • Cinderella were forced to cancel their summer tour as singer Tom Keifer’s left vocal cord hemorrhaged, making it impossible for him to sing.
  • At last night’s Tony Awards, singer-songwriter Stew and his coming-of-age rock opera Passing Strange won for Best Book.
